  1. Six Things It Pleased God to Do • I. “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him...” (Isaiah 53:7-10). • It was necessary for Christ to die that man might be saved. (Luke 24:45-47). • God made Christ to be sin for us. (II Corinthians 5:21).

  2. Six Things It Pleased God to Do • II. “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell” (Colossians 1:15-19). • Jesus is God in the flesh. (John 1:1; 1:14). • God the Father has given God the Son all authority. (Matthew 28:18).
