  3. T A S K 2 Select Preview Task Click once on Task #1 (“Alcosteel Test”). Use the menu path > Risk Analysis > Risk Entry Form.

  4. T A S K 2 Select Preview Task (cont’d) Select the Preview Task check box. Note: This automatically checks the Reporting Task box as well. Click the Close button on the Risk Entry Form. Select Preview Task box

  5. T A S K 2 Select Reporting Tasks Scroll down to and click once on Task #11 (“Actual Test”). Use the menu path > Risk Analysis > Risk Entry Form. Select the Reporting Task box. Click the Next button on the Risk Entry Form. Select the Reporting Task box for Tasks #12 and #13 (use Next button after Task #12). Click the Close button on the Risk Entry Form. Select Reporting Task box

  6. T A S K 2 Set Risk Parameters • Initialize Most Likely • Use the menu path: > Risk Analysis > Initialize Most Likely.

  8. T A S K 2 Set Risk Parameters (cont’d) Quick Setup (cont’d) Select Medium Confidence. Click OK. This sets the minimum (optimistic) and maximum (pessimistic) values at -25% and +25% respectively

  9. T A S K 2 Set Risk Parameters (cont’d) Global Edit Use the mouse to highlight Tasks # 12 and 13. Use the menu path > Risk Analysis > Global Edit.

In the Apply To section, ensure Selection is selected to ensure you apply these values to only the selected tasks (Tasks # 12 – 13). In the Curvesection, select 2.Triangular. Click OK.

  11. T A S K 2 Set Risk Parameters (cont’d) Risk Entry Form Use the mouse to highlight Task # 11 (“Actual Test”). Use the menu path > Risk Analysis > Risk Entry Form. In the Minimum box, change the value to 16 days. In the Maximum box, change the value to 35 days. In the Curve box, select 2. Triangular. Click the Close button.

  12. T A S K 2 Run the Risk Analysis Simulation Use menu path > Risk Analysis > Risk Analysis. Enter 500 for the number ofIterations that you want the Monte Carlo simulation to perform during the risk analysis. In the Options section, select Duration Analysis. In the Analysis Notes section, enter any comments you have concerning this analysis. Click OK.

  13. T A S K 2 SAMPLE To print the PowerPoint slides, CLICK on File  Print… You will then be prompted to choose your print options. Select them and CLICK OK. “CLICK” TO CONTINUE…
