  35. Why did you choose URI? I came here because the package they offer for graduate students. I wouldn’t come here if I did not have an assistantship. Because of my assistantship, but comes from my program, not the graduate school… I may not have chosen URI if I didn’t have support. It is about the dollar sign. Graduate School

  36. Why did you choose URI? It had to do with initial contact with the professors at the department and then the structure of the program and flexibility of the department URI has the opportunity to do a graduate certificate as part of your PhD in Women Studies that I think it is pretty cool and I intend to do it. I came to URI and the reason why I stay here was the flexibility of my department... I wanted to do something more cross disciplinary.  3 departments... It had lots of flexibility to foster what I wanted to do at the time, and I wanted to do something very applied. Graduate School
