  2. DWM Program • July 1999 Executive Order 155 established telework pilot program and Senate Bill 953 passed. • Telework Committee formed • Policy based on EPA policy • Started September, 1999 • Many supervisors required a task log • Surveys to monitor program

  3. DWM Telework • 20% of Division Employees Telework (48/237) • Teleworkers have included Supervisors, Technical Staff, Waste Management Analysts, Office Assistants and Accounting Clerks

  4. DWM Policy Requirements • Teleworkers must be in the office a minimum of 3 – 8 hour days a week • Teleworkers must call in at least every 2 hours • All schedule changes must be approved by a supervisor • Employee must have received a Very Good or Better on the latest KRR

  5. DWM Policy Requirements • Post Schedule/Phone Number/Voicemail/ Office View Pro • Property Inspections • Annual Renewal at KRR

  6. Survey Issues to Address • Work Group Discussions • Phone Coverage • Posting Schedule • Calling at Alternate Location • Equipment
