  3. Introduction • Recent developments • Review of Scripts • Introduction of training to introduce more realism through non-verbal cues • Improvisation skills

  4. Aim of the Workshop • The aim of this workshop is to encourage the participant to develop further their skills in the use of scripts, development of a character and improvisation during a simulated encounter.

  5. Objectives • At the end of the workshop the participant will: • Recognise the relevance of a script in developing a character • Recognise the importance of non-verbal cues in maintaining realism • Practise using a script • Discuss the importance of a checklist in assessing a students performance
