  2. Goals • Standardize, augment, and update WSP/IRWMP data • Create a one-stop site for project data management • Distribute task of data updates to data owners • Network the information with that of others in the region and state

  3. Project Partners • KRIS Team • CalEDLN: • UC Davis Information Center for the Environment (NRPI) • California Resources Agency, CERES • Sonoma Co. Water Agency’s North Bay EDLN pilot project

  4. Project Tasks • Data Standardization and Editing System • Organization Outreach and Data Holdings Review • Catalog Training and Data Updates • Data Networking

  5. Data Standardization and Editing System • Participate in development of new CalEDLN standards and techniques • Standardize existing WSP/IRWMP project description data, provide for editing and updating NBWA: $11,682 In-Kind from CalEDLN / SCWA: $10,000

  6. Organization Outreach and Data Holdings Review • Create a catalog of North Bay region organizations • Contact the organizations and: • Collect information about their data holdings, add to NBWA Catalog • Teach them to update their own records • Invite them to catalog training • Assess next steps and requirements for data sharing NBWA: $16,800

  7. Catalog Training and Data Updates • Train data owners to manage their catalog records in two workshops • Facilitate ongoing updates of the information in the organization, project, and data catalogs In-Kind from NSDI: $30,000

  8. Data Networking WSP/IRWMP Project and Data Catalog CERES • North Bay Regional Library • Wetland Tracker • SFBJV NRPI KRIS Data Catalog [Searching Editing] NBWA Project SCWA Project CalEDLN Project NBWA: $3,795 In-Kind from SCWA/CalEDLN: $25,000

Deliverables • Report of the findings of the organization outreach effort • inventory of the region’s environmental data-owner organizations, • overview of their data holdings • assessment of next steps and requirements for data-sharing. • Two data cataloging workshops • Updated project description and organization database • online, networked, searchable library • Integration with other North Bay regional data, KRIS Data Catalog, CERES, NRPI
