  2. Mounting way The mounting system for new frameless modules AIT PL-6 was designed and is produced by Spanish company – GLOCALIZA SOLAR. It is fast and easy way to install PV modules for roof top systems and for the ground PV plants. The frameless technology allows to put modules very close to each others what saves installation space and improves efficiency of the whole PV plant. Modules are fastenedto the structure with specially designed clips, then they are connected together with short cables what reduces electrical looses and improvessystems’efficiency.

  4. CONNECTORS Connection between modules is performed using specially designed plugs and connectors placed on the front side of modules. This solution allows to keep the backside of module free of any devices (junction box), what makes installation more comfortable and more friendly for building integrated systems. Changing the termination location, reduce cables length and special connectors help to avoid unnecessary connections which can cause electric power looses.

  5. CONNECTORS MOUTING Connectors are screwed into the plug laminated inside the module. After mechanical installation, the cables’ plugs are just to be easily screwed in using box spanner – size„17”.

  6. Aluminum construction Aluminum construction is specially designed to facilitate the installation process of new modules. Special clips are mounted to aluminum construction and allow to place modules in two rows. Numbers of rows and columns can be modified by addingmore elements.

  9. MOUNTING CLIPS Modules are fastenedwith special clips bolted to aluminum construction, each single module is griped in four points, one single clip joins two modules. Special rubber seal protects modules from mechanical and thermal tension.

  13. Advantages/Innovations No junction box: laminated diodes, termination for the positive and negative outputs located in the front side of the module allow for the elimination of a junction box . No connectors: modules connected directly with one short cable, which significantly reduces series resistance losses. Plain rear surface: by changing the termination location the back surface of module stays plain from any devices, making access to connection points easy to reach from the front side of the module. Short cable connection: reduces series resistance losses, no need to mind long wiring, simply bolt two modules together with one short cable. Easy to mount: plain rear area of the module enables  mounting it directly onto  a required surface.
