  3. The sector of continuous production has 10 units of equipment (machines). The NORM OF MAINTENANCE for the sector is equal to one. It is known that in normal conditions the labor productivity of one worker is 95 operations per hour. Value added as a result of performance the operation is 0,5 UAH Using the data of table calculate the monthly losses as a result of poor working conditions if the exceeding of normative values is: Air pollution exceeds the allowable level by 10%; Industrial noise exceeds the allowable level by 10%; Temperature exceeds the norm by 10%; Lighting below the norm by 10%. Propose some measures to reduce losses. A decline in productivity per hour as a result of poor working conditions, % TASK

A decline in productivity per hour as a result of poor working conditions, % The total decline in labour productivity will be (see the table): 3% + 1% + 1,8% + 0,9% = 6,7 % The decline in Labor productivity of one worker per hour will be: 95 operations x 0,067 = 6,365 operations The decline in Labor productivity of one worker per shift will be: 6,365 operations x 8 hours = 50,92 operations The decline in Labor productivity of the sector of production per shift will be: 50,92 operations x 10 units = 509,2 operations The decline in Labor productivity of the sector of production per day will be: 509,2 operations x 3 shifts = 1527,6 operations The monthly decline in Labor productivity of the sector of production will be: 1527,6 operations x 30 days = 45828 operations The monthly losses will be: 45828 operations x 0,5 UAH (value added) = 22914 UAH Calculate the economic effect if the employer will buy the additional lamps, conditioner, air-cleaner and so on.
