  2. TK-C1460BE (1480) Basic Specification: ½” X-View CCD 480TVL C and CS mount, direct drive or video iris 0.3 lux at F1.2 at 25 IRE 12Vdc or 24Vac

  3. TK-C1460BE (1480) Back Focus Set First, press “UP” button for back-focus mode – opens auto iris fully to minimise depth of field and uses shutter to maintain exposure Use an object with fine detail at least 3 metres from the camera Zoom in, focus lens, zoom out, focus with back focus ring, repeat at least once – minimises visible focus drift along the zoom In some lower cost zoom lenses the focus does not track well over the whole length of the zoom, some compromise has to be achieved depending on the errors present Press up again to revert to normal operation

  4. TK-C1460BE (1480) Lens Auto Iris Level Set First, press enter menu system and TURN OFF AGC Use a scene with high light levels you wish to be exposed correctly Adjust lens iris level to white out and then back off until correct exposure is obtained – better still use an oscilloscope and set video level to 0.7V Do not adjust lens peak/average setting, if in doubt leave it set in its mechanical centre Reset AGC to 20dB

  5. TK-C1460BE (1480) Menu Set-Up You need to know where your starting from Service engineers should take a note of all the users settings so these can be re-instated before return Enter menu and go to FACTORY SETTING and use CLEAR function to reset all user settings to factory defaults. This can be by-passed if its new out of the box but can save much time with a camera that has been used – particularly by sales for a demonstration!

  6. Sync Adjust ALC Settings Video Adjust Mode Select Motion Detection Communication Maintenance Factory settings Sync Adjust - genlock V Phase H Phase For setting cameras output synchronization. (V phase adjusts lock to the AC voltage phase). SC Coarse SC Fine SC - Sub Carrier adjustment will change the colour burst timing. TK-C1460BE (1480) on screen modes

  14. TK-C1460 / 1480BE Top Tips • (1460) When using Infra Red Lights– Camera must be set to Aux mode. This enables the filter to move on trigger from IR relay. If in Auto mode – The camera will change Colour / Mono back to colour every 30 seconds • (1460) Needs a peak current of 1.5 amp 24Vac power supply for the activation of IR filter motor • (1460) Can not use a lens with optics that protrude more than 4mm. If the wrong lens is fitted, this damages the moving filter and can stop its movement. • (1460) Using IR light will cause focus shift. Choose lens carefully. • (1460 & 1480) If set button is held down for 2 seconds the camera will perform a manual white balance and stay in the manual mode – causes some reports of poor colour temp control.
