  1. ‘Jehovah Shalom’ Brother John Noble 31st July 2013

  2. Judges 6:6 – 10 • 6And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD. • 7¶ And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites, • 8That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage; • 9And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;

  3. Judges 6:6 – 10 • 10And I said unto you, I [am] the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.

  4. Judges 6:13 – 16 • 13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where [be] all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. • 14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? • 15And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family [is] poor in Manasseh, and I [am] the least in my father's house.

  5. Judges 6:13 – 16 • 16And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

  6. Psalms 113:3 • 3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name [is] to be praised.

  7. Isaiah 45:5 – 6 • 5¶ I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: • 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.

  8. Isaiah 59:19 • 19So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

  9. Malachi 1:11 • 11For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name [shall be] great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

  10. I Chronicles 12:37 – 38 • 37And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand. • 38All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel [were] of one heart to make David king.

  11. Psalms 60:7 • 7Gilead [is] mine, and Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

  12. Jeremiah 8:22 • 22[Is there] no balm in Gilead; [is there] no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
