The 3G phones (2003-2006) The 3g network speed took the download speed up to 2 Mbps. And new features with front facing camera video calling were possible. Touch screen phones (2007-2010) Buttons were vanished as the input was no longer given through buttons rather than the touch displays were introduced in mobiles which you can scroll, swipe, and click for your inputs. Brands like LG and apple launched capacitive touch screens. Phones getting smarter (2011-2014) The phones turned in to smartphones which offer more than just communication. Many this like voice assist of Google or apple was introduced. The 4g network increased the speed more than the 3g so many applications with smart features are used in daily life. Present day With the increasing speed of internet, the applications are also being advanced and improved video streaming and video calling capabilities. The screen size of the phones is also getting bigger with bezel- less screen.
