ACHIEVEMENT • Achievement Proficiency Points • Calculation: 300*((LA%+MA%+SC%)/n)) • LA% = Percent Proficient on Language Arts Test • MA% = Percent Proficient on Mathematics Test • SC% = Percent Proficient on Science Test • N = Number of subject areas with at least 10 tests • Note: DWA is not included in School Grading

  5. SUFFICIENT GROWTH • All Student Sufficient Growth Calculation • Number of student tests with SGP >= 40 are counted for numerator • Number of distinct student tests with SGP are counted for denominator • .5 points given for each percent School Example: Language Arts SGP (67/89)*50 = 37.5 Mathematics SGP (61/72)*50 = 42.4 Science SGP (29/46)*50 = 31.5 All Student Growth points Total 111

  6. SUFFICIENT GROWTH • Below Proficient (BP) Student Sufficient Growth • Growth Calculation is identical to All Student growth except it only includes students who score Level 1 or Level 2 on the CRTs. Example: Language Arts BP SGP (23/37)*50 = 31 Mathematics BP SGP (20/31)*50 = 32 Science BP SGP (14/28)*50 = 25 BP Growth points Total 88

  7. College & Career Ready Points • A school must have a 12th Grade • Use prior year FEDERAL 4 YR Graduation rate • Points = Graduation Rate*150 • CCR points are in addition to Growth and Achievement • High Schools -> 750 points possible

  8. School Grades School Grading – Percent of Points Earned and Grades • A = 80% to 100% • B = 70% to 79% • C = 60% to 69% • D = 50% to 59% • F = 49% or lower OR if school fails on participation rules
