  3. Athens Classic Marathon Κλασσικός ΜαραθώνιοςΑθήνας The Athens Classic Marathon is an annual marathon road race held in Athens, Greece. The course begins in the town of Marathon and finishes after 42.195 kmsat the Panathinaikon Stadium in the centre of Athens. Athletes from all over the world take part every year.

  4. AEGEAN SAILING RALLY The Aegean Sailing Rally is an annual international sailing Regatta. The course starts in Faliron Bay, and takes in several Aegean Islands. Since 1964 it has attracted competitors from around the world as well as Greek sailing teams.

RALLY ‘ACROPOLIS’ The Rally of Gods ΡΑΛΛΥ «ΑΚΡΟΠΟΛΙΣ»Το ράλλυ των Θεών The Acropolis Rally of Greece(Greek: ΡάλλυΑκρόπολις) is arally competition, part of the European Rally Championship schedule. The rally is held on very dusty, rough and rocky mountain roads around Athens during the Greek hot summer period. It is known for being extremely tough on the competing cars and drivers. In 2005, it was announced the Rally of the Year.

  6. GREEK BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP Basketball is probably the most popular sport in Greece. We Greeks love our National Basketball Team which has offered us thrilling moments and memorable victories . Traditionally, Greece is considered among the world's top basketball powers; they were runners-up in the 2006 FIBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP after beating the 2006 Team USA in the tournament's semifinal. They have also won the FIBA Eurobasket twice, in 1987 and 2005. They are currently placed fifth in the FIBA World Rankings.

  7. GREEK “SUPER LEAGUE” Football is very popular in Greece and the Greek Championship “SUPER LEAGUE” is of great interest to the sports fans.
