EQ:What is the relationship between potential and kinetic energy? GPS:S82Pb. Explain the relationship between Potential and kinetic energy WORK SESSION: Set up Interactive Notebook. Roller Coaster Gizmo: Students will go to the Media Center to complete a Gizmo- Kinetic-Potential Energy CLOSING: Review : Discuss the results of the Gizmo HOMEWORK: NONE

EQ: What are the different forms of local government in Georgia? GPS:SS8CG5- The student will analyze the role of local government in the state of Georgia. WORK SESSION: State and Local Government (Part 1 and 2) Make a flipbook consisting of four pages summarizing the video. Part one and part two. Title the flipbook, List the standard, create an EQ. The flipbook will consist of pictures and words explaining the two videos. CLOSING: Cops and Robbers: View the video -Ask students to write a paragraph describing why Sheriff Giles’ methods for keeping law and order in Taylor County work. What character traits does Sheriff Giles exhibit as he goes about his duties HOMEWORK: Complete flipbook
