  1. Refill too soon Release Payer Activation Help Reject ROI ECME Log Insurance Benefit Suspense NDC Date of Service DEA Special Handling Field ePharmacy Site Manager Override OPECC 90-day Fills Register new pharmacy DUR Claim will not Process Real-time collaboration via MS Live Meeting saves time and improves productivity - resulting in faster, more complete problem resolution • Setting up a new CBOC • ADPAC was having difficulty setting up a new CBOC • The two most common areas for error appeared to be correct – CBOC properly set up as outpatient site and the correct NPI Institution entered • Over Live Meeting the team walked the user through the ECME Setup option to add the CBOC Outpatient site to the BPS Pharmacy • An inappropriate BPS Pharmacy entry was found and the Register Pharmacy with AAC option was used to register new CBOC and inactivate inappropriate entry • The use of Live Meeting ensured correct options were used and proper values entered for multi-step process. The team later updated and clarified written Instructions on Adding a New CBOC. • Unable to edit NDC number • for ePharmacy prescription • User reported she was unable to edit the NDC number for an ePharmacy prescription – she also questioned the OPECC’s comment associated with the transferred reject • Since the NDC is editable through the Edit Prescription option once the prescription has been released, the ePharmacy team wanted to learn more • Together with the user the team was able to view the prescription processing screens via Live meeting • It was determined the prescription was not yet Released. • By viewing the processing screens the team was able to determine if there was a correlation between the OPECC’s comment and the inability to edit the NDC. • Unable to pull ePharmacy Rx • from suspense for filling • Prescriptions rejected for Refill Too Soon, but patient going on vacation • The user resolved rejects by submitting a Clarification Code, placing Rxs in suspense • Only one of the three prescriptions could be pulled from suspense to be filled locally using the action PP Pull Rx (OP) • ePharmacy team joined user on Live Meeting to get better understanding of situation • ePharmacy team member suggested using Pull Early from Suspenseoption to process the remaining refills • The opportunity to see the actual approach led to suggesting an alternate method to process the prescriptions andaccommodate the patient. The ePharmacy Team hopes this information will encourage others to use MS Live Meeting to collaborate on problem resolution when face-to-face interaction is inconvenient or not possible.
