  2. ASIS International is the preeminent organization for security professionals. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. Our chapter adopts the same principals by meeting each month and providing a speaker with relevant topics pertaining to security. We also have our annual seminar each November, Law Enforcement Appreciation Day ‘LEAD’ every May, as well providing a yearly CPP review course each year to assist members with certification needs.
