Their increased use for humanitarian purposes has seen the United Nations stepping in to create an official policy brief, outlining how they should be used safely and responsibly for disaster response purposes, and several other organizations such as UAViators and OSHA, have collaborated to explore how drones can be most effectively employed in disaster zones.
