In 2014, there was a 52% increase in construction contracts awarded here in South Florida with a total value of these contracts coming in at approximately $10 billion. That was $3.4 billion more than was awarded in 2013. To give further credence to our projections for population growth, 2014 saw a 62% increase from 2013 in the residential sector.In Conclusion, construction in Florida for the next 25 years is going to be hot and Miami-Dade County is on fire for the foreseeable future.
