  5. The Odds • 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women. • Estimated : by 2030 there will be 12 million cancer deaths worldwide • For every 100 people who get cancer 33 cases could be prevented through simple lifestyle changes

  6. Prevention • Stopping tobacco use and avoiding exposure to passive smoke • Limiting alcohol consumption • Avoiding excessive sun exposure • Regular physical activity • Eating healthily • Maintaining a healthy weight • Protecting against cancer-causing infections
