  1. Sean Christopher Letona Is The Recipient Of Many Awards Including Navy Achievement Medal

Sean Christopher Letona has gone through many career transitions over the years, from a 2nd class signalman in the US Navy to an adjunct instructor at St. Petersburg College to a police officer in Pinellas Park Police Department. Currently, he is working with a leading mental health care facility where he creates patient treatment and discharge plans, and makes referral to various support services to help patients better manage their illness.

  3. With such vast experience gathered over the years, he has developed a team-oriented and problem solving approach. Owing to his professionalism and utmost dedication towards the work, Sean Christopher Letona has received many awards, such as Employee of the Quarter 2005 by Pinellas Park Police Department, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

  4. Navy Achievement Medal is awarded for an achievement in either a non-combat or combat situation, depending upon consistent performance, or a particular accomplishment of superlative nature. The Good Conduct Medal is given to every member of navy workforce who completes 3 years of service, by any commanding officer. In order to be eligible for this medal, one should have clear record, devoid of any civil convictions or court martial.

  5. Every naval personnel member who meets the eligibility criteria for this medal also needs to maintain performance marks for duties which are above 2.0. Sean Christopher Letona did his graduation from the University of South Florida, St, Petersburg and attended American Military University to pursue his post-graduation in Homeland Security. While working at St. Petersburg College, he helped students

  6. improve their training curriculum and ground fighting portions, and supervised practical and written examinations. Moreover, Sean Christopher Letona also provided instructions on the topic of Defensive Tactics and Officer Survival, at the Basic Law Enforcement Recruit Academy, and assumed the job duties of Lead Instructor in absence of lead instructor. Aside from that, he also offered remedial training to the classes of 15-40 students.

  7. Besides, Sean Christopher Letona has also worked with the Pinellas Park Police Department for around nine years, and held many positions, including Field Training Officer, Undercover Narcotics Detective, SWAT Assistant Team Leader and Instructor.
