In business a lot of maxims get thrown around, too many with little or no meaning. Here’s one, though, of infinite worth: say what you do and do what you say. Success or failure in today’s volatile marketplace is as contingent as ever on these two important precepts. Convey what you do as a statement of value to your clients and then consistently deliver on that statement. There are no shortcuts and yet reality today dictates most of us are doing more with less, leading to compromise on one, or both.
