  1. Disciple Building Sharing A65 Knowledge/Love, Arrogant, test, puffs up, Knowledge => Obey the Lord's Words => Love God's Heart

  2. Preface • Knowledge makes people arrogant. This concept seems to be completely different from the world’s thinking. If I learn more, then I should know the breadth of knowledge. I should be like a learned person, and I should be more humble. But why the Bible said so, if this is a truth that violates the rules of the world. In this chapter, let us carefully look for the truth of the Bible for detail analysis.

  3. Knowledge • 1Cor. 8:1 “Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. ” • Gen. 2:17 “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.””

  4. Knowledge • From the above verses, we know that if people eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge that distinguishes good and evil, then God says that we must die the day we eat it. Why does God give us such a severe warning? Is it because when we have this knowledge, or You will start to distance yourself from God and treat yourself as a God, as the following verse says • James. 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

  5. arrogant • Daniel 8:1111 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. • Daniel 11:3636 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. • 5448[e]φυσιοῖ,physioipuffs up,V-PIA-3S

  8. Test of arrogant • Isaiah 40:13 Who can fathom the Spirit[a] of the Lord,  or instruct the Lord as his counselor? • The above scriptures tell us that when a person is arrogant that he can’t listen to anyone’s advice or you carefully analyze the people around you, that everyone agrees with you. And whether you seek suggestions from different groups of friends, for example

  9. Test of arrogant • Some people say I have no salvation • Some people say that I don’t have enough confidence, • To be able to allow others to say that I am not godly enough, • Able to allow others to say that I am not like a Christian • Saying that I don't have the Holy Spirit • I haven't heard others say that I'm bad • I haven't heard others say that I need to improve

  10. Knowledge => Obey the Lord's Words => Love God's Heart • 1John. 2:5 “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.” • 1John. 5:2 “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.” • 1John. 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” • John. 15:10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. ”

  11. Knowledge => Obey the Lord's Words => Bestow faith • When we obey the Lord’s words, Jesus Christ can live inward and He can give us faith. Then we have more capacity and can accept more truth. If we don’t take this path, then the following scripture will be our case • Heb. 4:2 “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”

  12. Edify others • Eph. 4:29 “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. ” • Rom. 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” • 2Tim. 3:16 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,”
