Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Gal 5:22-26

  5. Today We Look At Final 3 Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Faithfulness” • Deut 7:9-10 • 9 "Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

  6. “Faithfulness” • Faithfulness is not guaranteed by man • Neh 7:2 that I gave the charge of Jerusalem to my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the leader of the citadel, for he was a faithful man and feared God more than many. • Ps 78:8 And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

  7. “Faithfulness” • Ps 78:37 For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant. • Prov 14:5 A faithful witness does not lie, • Prov 20:6-7 Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man? 7 The righteous man walks in his integrity His children are blessed after him.

  8. God Is Looking For “Faithfulness” • Matt 24:45-47 • "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods

  9. “Faithfulness” should be sought • Matt 25:21-23 • 21 His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over manythings. Enter into the joy of your lord.' 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.' 23 His lord said to him,'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler overmany things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

  10. “Faithfulness” should be sought • Matt 25:21-23 • 21 His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' 22 He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.' 23 His lord said to him,'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler overmany things.   11. Bishop’s are “Faithful” • Titus 1:9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. • Rev 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

  12. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Gentleness” • 2 Sam 22:36 "You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Yourgentlenesshas made me great. • Ps 18:35-36 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. 36 You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip.

  13. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Gentleness” • It is a characteristic of a Godly person • 1 Cor 4:20-21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness ? • Gal 6:1-2 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness , considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

  14. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Gentlenness” • Phil 4:5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. • 1 Tim 6:11-12 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness . 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called • 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing

  15. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Self Control” • Felix trembled at the thought • Acts 24:24-26 • 25 Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control , and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, "Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you."

  16. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Self Control” • Discussing a husband & wife • 1 Cor 7:5 Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control .

  17. Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Self Control” • It is something many cannot master • 1 Cor 7:9 but if they cannot exercise self-control , let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. • This is probably one of the most difficult qualities to have because it is something that is tried and tested daily

Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Self Control” • It is something that God is serious about – talking about the woman • 1 Tim 2:14-15 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control .

Fruits OfThe Spirit - “Self Control” • Men and Women should beware • 2 Tim 3:2-7 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control , brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

God Is Looking For - “Self Control” • 2 Peter 1:5-9 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control , to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

  24.
