  3. Roads Authority will organize the Seminar in association with ASANRA. • Association of Southern African Road Authorities (ASANRA was established with the essential purpose of enhancing regional policy coordination and road transport systems integration in order to improve intra-regional road transport efficiency and lower transport costs). • Date Proposed: 11 to 13 April 2011 in Windhoek the Capital City; 14 -15 meeting of Piarc D1 committee in Swakopmund (Coast). • (Oct 2010 IRF Conference in Cape Town South Africa, Nov 2011 Chile Conference of AM) • In principle, Namibia is willing to host the Seminar, budget could be a constraint – but will be done in association with ASANRA. • Reserve the date – so that no other conference is held during this time (T2 in Tanzania) – hence support of ASANRA.

  4. Perhaps a technical tour at the Coast – if logistics allow. (Salt Road construction - ) • We would need assistance with the programme, logistics, invitation etc…. If agreed, announcement to go out asap from Piarc.
