Chapter 12 – Fire/Life SafetyHot Work Permits • Permit Request Information will be Entered by the Field Construction Manager. • ESH will Inspect the Area and Sign the Permit. No Hot Work Until Signed! • Permit Valid for 1-8 Days.

Chapter 12 – Fire/Life SafetyHot Work Permits • Fire Watch Requirements • Fire Extinguisher Training • Recognize Ignition Hazards • Ability to Call 911 and x5555 • Maintain Watch 30 Minutes After Hot Work Other Duties: Only Tasks That Do Not Require the Fire Watch to Leave the Immediate Area. Surveillance Must Be Continuous.
