  1. PERIGRINE FALCON Problems Where I got my info Appearance Food Babies By April & Rob Solution Habitat

  2. Apearance The Peregrine falcon is about the size of a large crow with different colored Feathers. Peregrine falcons are bluish-black with a white breast. The falcons Will often have black cheeks and some white under the wings. The younger Falcons are sort of salmon pinkish with a black moustache under their eyes.

  3. Habitat The peregrine falcons nests are mainly found on cliffs and pinnacles. If the Peregrine falcon made a nest on a building it would probably be a Manmade nest.

  4. Food The peregrine falcon mainly eats birds such as pidgeons, blackbirds and sometimes ducks. Yum!! food

  5. Babies Peregrine falcons have at least 2 to 6 eggs in one nest. The young are born in April or May but the arctic ones are born in June or July. The female falcon is called a falcon. The male is called a tiercel. The eggs strange from a variety from a pinky to a reddish brown.

  6. Problems A company named DDT was ruining their habitat and farmers started spraying the trees so the eggs died.

  7. Solution The falcons started to die off when the farmers would spray their trees where the falcons would nest. This organization called DDT was destroying falcon habitat, so they banded them from North America. When that happened all of the falcons started to come back. It was really cool. In order to protect the peregrine falcon the farmers were careful where they sprayed and the falcons started to come back.
