  3. Self-Regulation Notice where you are at any given time and make sure you support yourself by asking questions, note taking, stretching yourself. • Moments of Validation • Moments of Reminding • Moments of New Information

  4. Agenda At your table, spend 4 minutes talking: Given the agenda for today,… • What are you most intrigued by or looking forward to? OR • What do you think will be useful for you?

  5. Super Skills Inventory • What “superhero” skills do you have? (What are your strengths as a teacher, parent, etc.?) • If you could wish any of those superskills on your students, which ones would you like them to have?

  8. Video Reflection At your table: • Discuss the ideas from the videos that resonated with you. • List some of the themes from your group’s discussion and be prepared to share them with the whole group.

Jigsaw to Learn • Each team member is assigned a reading. • Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication, Creativity • In your expert groups: • Read the material, and then converse about its meaning. • Determine what ideas you will share and how you will share the ideas in your home groups. • Return to your home groups and share what has been learned in the expert groups.

Discussion Format • Menu • 20 “Appetizer” • 20 “Soup” or “Salad” • 20 “Main Course” • 25 “Dessert” and “Digestion” (Synthesis) • 15 Share whole group • Seating Arrangement • Every participant visits each table to answer essential questions • Choose the order so as to ‘mix up’ the groups each time
