Ezee Hugs 2017 – Learnings • Excellent coordination between separate teams – GCPL, HT, PACE & Candid – should be continued and made more robust • Periodical collection from QBCs was done last year – should be continued • Start early to tap on ‘Diwali cleaning time’ and have first mover advantage - start deployment of boxes and postering latest by 30th / 31st Oct in order to cover as many schools as possible before the Diwali holidays (6th -11th Nov) • Vehicles used to collect woollens should have capacity to collect from 5-6 schools in a day (as done last year) • Timings for collection in schools is 8:00 AM to 2:00PM, we should wrap up the collection activity during that duration. • Counting and signing off (one copy with agency and one with PACE) of woollens donated per school should be continued like last year to avoid any discrepancy between the number of collected woollens • Non-woollens should also be collected from schools and not left behind - they can be removed / discarded later by the agency • More boxes deployed at QBCs
