Introduction • Central Bureau of Statistics ( CBS), according to 2003 Statistical act is responsible about the national statistics such as data collection, data and Dissemination in addition to supervision of the other data producer . • Also CBS coordinating the national Statistical System Strategy. • Research & Dissemination directorate is for Dissemination

  3. Dissemination tools Dissemination is one of the important statistical process . Central Bureau of Statistics ( CBS) practice many type of data dissemination: • Workshop and seminar. • Papers publications: annual report, monthly bulletin and year Books. • Through mass media (news paper, TV and Radio program). • CDs and web Dissemination.

Three web solutions are adopt at CBS: • Web page: www.cbs.gov.sd It has been developed in 2002 and the first version was simple HTML page, and then drupal template has been used, but it still facing technical difficulties. • Sudaninfo: www.sudaninfo.org database software has been developed by UNICEF. Tow version has been uploaded the fist one was in 2008 and then the second in 2008 and then 2013 2013.

  5. Sudan Data Portal: http://sudan.africadata.org A national database has been designed in partnership with the African Development Bank as a part of its Data management and dissemination project. The Data Portal provides many advanced features for analyzing, visualizing, and reporting statistical data for Sudan and its states. The portal’s functionality works entirely in a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  6. Supporting Data user To support CBS product user the following important issues are done: • Users, producers committee has been formulated to specify the demand and the time. • Metadata is to be published in each hard or soft publication. • Tanning course were cover most of ministries and unites, the topics are: main statistical concept and indictor. How to use the three mentioned web solutions.
