- -Plagiarism is taking (copying) someone else’s work and claiming it as your own.
- Below is a chart of what percent of teens plagiarize in a year:

- There are many different ways to avoid plagiarism. Here are three of them:
- 1. DO IT YOURSELF - Don’t copy other’s work. Use your own.
- 2. ASK – If you’re not sure if you’re plagiarizing ask your teacher or parents.
- 3. CITE YOUR SOURCES – If you use an idea for your work, make sure you cite the people who gave it to you.
