MTE makes allowance for a review of appropriateness and continued relevance of the Programme strategy and also for an assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of its implementation, including delays in implementation and/or lack of expected absorption rates. Mid Term Evaluation [2009-2010]

This evaluation is aimed at providing an overall assessment of the Programme effects on both existing and emerging enterprise infrastructureand investment, job creation, competitiveness of SMEs , the national capacity for RTDi, improved tourism product and increased tourism earnings, and relevant improved transport facilities. Evaluation of increased Competitiveness through OPI supported initiatives

  6. This evaluation will focus on the contribution of OPI interventions to the overall improvement of quality of life. This will be done through an independent review of interventions in the fields of transport infrastructure, services of general economic interest, environment and risk prevention, urban regeneration, accessibility and educational, social and health sector. Evaluation of enhanced Quality of Life through OPI supported initiatives

  8. Demand Side: encourage networking; raise awareness; enhance technical know-how and ensure the use of evaluation results. Supply Side: support networking; encourage market development and promote information and skills development opportunities. Evaluation Capacity Development

Debriefing meetings for interested stakeholders with the aim of creating a feedback mechanism to improve performance; Presentation to the MC to reinforce the strategic direction; Encourage the exchange of lessons learnt and best practice among stakeholders and Use of results in decision-making and organisational learning.
