  2. Purpose and Intended Outcomes • Provide a brief overview of how we are collecting and using observational data to enhance coaching and feedback to middle school teachers

Coaching Structure Coach A • 2 Middle Schools (6th-8th grade), different districts • 13 and 17 Content area teachers • 7 and 11 Interventionists • 31 and 44 Target students with IEPs Coach B • 1 Middle School (6th-8th grade) • 11 Content area teachers • 8 Interventionists • 47 Target students with IEPs

  9. Using Observation Data • To provide feedback to teachers • To prioritize coaching resources • To analyze alongside student outcome data

Prioritizing • Follow up coaching + observation needed until: • Teacher has demonstrated in at least 2 observations that they are at 80% fidelity or better • Consultation continuously available, but prioritized for: • Teachers teaching new programs and strategies • Teachers with low fidelity data • Teachers of students with IEP reading goals
