Professional Maintenance Officer (PMO)Insignia Description Silver Eagle with shield Aviation wings 11/8” Banner 2¾” • The PMO insignia is a 2 ¾” x 11/8” gold and silver metal pin showing the silver eagle and shield superimposed over gold aviation wings with a gold banner depicting AERO MAINTENANCE. • The insignias will have either an anodized or oxidized finish. • There should be two sizes of the metal pin-on PMO breast insignia, the miniature size insignia is normally worn on uniforms requiring miniature medals. • The insignia should be authorized for wear on the naval officer uniforms as prescribed in the U.S. Navy Uniform Regulations.
