Times and Dates: going out • Friday 15th February: • Students arrive at school at 6.00 hrs • Leave for Jeddah International Airport at 6.30 hrs • Flights: • Depart Jeddah: 8.55 hrs • Flight Number: BA 132 • Arrive London, Heathrow: 13.00 hrs • Depart London: 14.20 hrs • Flight Number: BA 265 • Arrive Washington DC, USA: 18.05 hrs

Times and Dates: coming back • Friday 22nd February: • Flights: • Depart New York, USA: 22.55 hrs • Flight Number: BA 182 • Saturday 23rd February • Arrive London Heathrow: 10.50 hrs PROPOSED HOTEL SLEEP OVER • Depart London Heathrow: 21.55 hrs • Flight Number: BA 133 • Sunday 24th February • Arrive Jeddah: 7.20 hrs Estimated arrival at JPGS: 8.15 hrs

Important • Please DO NOT arrive at the airport to collect your child, you will not be allowed to take your child from the airport. • Please meet back at JPGS at 8.15, where we will hand your child over to you. • Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but this is to protect and ensure the safe return of your children.

  5. security • We will be travelling to cities of high population it is therefore vitally important that you are vigilant at all times both for your own personal safety as well as for your possessions. • An identity badge will be provided, it is to be worn AT ALL TIMES, whenaround airports, and when we are out of the hotels.

  6. Baggage • Case (preferably soft baggage): 23Kgs max • Not to exceed 90 x 75 x 43cm • Hand luggage: • 1 piece 23 Kgs max • Not to exceed 56 x45x 25cm • Additional handbag /laptop

  7. Hand luggage: Points to note • Accepted in hand luggage in containers up to 100ml max. Unopened: • Liquid • Gels • Pastes • Aerosols • Containers larger than 100ml will not be accepted even if partially filled. • Containers to be carried in a transparent re-sealable 1 litre sized bag no larger than 20 x 20 cm • No restrictions on medication : • However you maybe required to present a valid prescription

How To Use Your Journal • This journal is a record of your trip to America. • It will help you to remember every single detail. • It will also be kept as a record of your achievements at Jeddah Prep and Grammar School. • There are spaces to record all your experiences and to stick in photographs when we return to Jeddah. • Every day you will be expected to record the following: • Where did you go today? • What did you do? • Describe what you did. • What do you know today that you didn’t know yesterday? • What can you do today that you couldn’t do yesterday? • Who had the most impact on your day? Why? • What was the most negative part of your day? How did you turn it into a positive? • What was the best part of your day. Why? • If you could do today again, what would you do differently. Explain why? • Finally, be honest with your answers. This document will be yours to look back upon in years to come. Make the account accurate! Enjoy……Mr Fisher & Mr Deus.
