  2. Resellers • Ecocarrier’s customers may be a reseller or a call shop owner. • Resellers do not operate call shops themselves but sell the call shop service to the call shop owners. • Call shop owners and their staff operate the call shops. • Two levels of call shop staff: operator and manager.

Making Calls • Two kinds of call shop operation: • Without PIN- The customer may give a deposit or not.- The customer does not dial a PIN before dialing the destination number.- The customer's calling time is limited by the deposit amount or a default limit. • With PIN- The customer must give a deposit.- The customer must dial a PIN before dialing the destination number.- The customer's calling time is limited by the deposit amount. • The calling function in the Shopfront may be operated or viewed by- operators- managers- owners • Resellers may only view the calling operations of the Shopfront page. • The Shopfront page of a call shop may be simultaneously operated by one staff (such as an operator) and viewed by other staff (such as the owner).

  5. Making Calls - Without PIN • Select an idle booth by clicking the booth number button in the left pane.

  6. Making Calls - Without PIN • The booth has a default limit for call charge. If the customer gives a deposit or if you want to change the default, enter the amount in the Deposit field, and click the Set Deposit button.

  7. Making Calls - Without PIN • Click the Print Ticket button to print the booth number to give to the customer.  Or just tell the customer the booth number.

Making Calls - Without PIN • Tell the customer which booth to use. • Watch the progress of the call in the left pane. • After the customer dials the destination number, the booth status changes to Online then displays the destination number and the time when the destination number was accepted.

  9. Making Calls - Without PIN • When the call ends, the booth status changes to Over. The booth status displays the destination number, start (answer) time of the call, and the duration. • The booth details in the right pane include the call record, the charge of the call, and the refund (if any) of the unused money.

  10. Making Calls - Without PIN • Click the Print Invoice button to print an invoice for the customer if desired. • Set the booth to Idle state by clicking the Reset button. If desired, disable the booth by clicking the Disable button; in this case, the booth will first have to be Enabled the next time you want to use it.

  11. Making Calls - Without PIN • The manager, call shop owner, and reseller can monitor the calls as the operator runs the call shop.

  14. Making Calls - With PIN • Enter the deposit received from the customer. • Click the Activate button.

  15. Making Calls - With PIN • A new random PIN is created, and the booth status changes to Activated. • Click the Print Ticket button to print the booth number and PIN to give to the customer.  Or just tell the customer the booth number and PIN.

Rates • Rates may be accessed in- Toolbox in the Shopfront page- View Rates page • Sell rates may be set by- resellers for charging their call shop owners- call shop owners for charging the call shop customers (end users) • The sell rates of a call shop may be viewed by- operators- managers • The sell rates and buy rates may be viewed by- owners- resellers

  23. Rates - Toolbox • The Toolbox may be used to find - the rate for a particular destination- the maximum duration given a deposit amount and destination- the charge given a duration and destination

  24. Rates – View Rates • The rate table in the View Rates page lists the rates by country name or dial code.

  25. Reports • Reports in the View Logs pages may be accessed by- managers - owners- resellers • Reports are- operator activity- service activity- call records- statistics

  26. Reports – Operator Log • The operator log is a summary of the working sessions of the staff. • The operator log shows the staff ID, staff name, sign in time, sign out time, work time in hours and minutes, income during the work period, and reported money collected during the work period.

Reports – Service Log • The service log is a summary of the services provided to each customer. • The service log shows the call shop, booth number, service start time when the booth was enabled, service end time when the booth was reset, staff id who provided the service, and total sales of this service.

  28. Reports – Call Records Report • The call records report is a list of the calls made in the call shops. • The call record shows the call shop, booth, start time of the call, duration of the call, destination number, and charge.

  29. Reports – Statistics Report • The statistics report shows a summary and comparison of- sales of the calls shops; sales by staff- daily sales by call shop; daily sales by staff- monthly sales by call shop; monthly sales by staff

Billing Information • The Billing Information pages may be accessed by- owners- resellers • Owners’ billing data are- their account balance- payments to their reseller- buy CDRs, sell CDRs, and profit • Resellers’ billing data are- their account balance- payments to Ecocarrier- their customers’ (call shop owners’) account balances- payments from their customers (call shop owners)- buy CDRs, sell CDRs, and profit

  32. Billing Information – Accounts for Reseller • These are the reseller’s account balance and the reseller’s customers’ account balances.
