  7. Currently Enrolled – FREE, OPTIONAL Service for Districts • New in SY2010-11 school districts were provided with an option to submit an updated currently enrolled student data file to SAS, Inc. containing students currently enrolled in their district and schools in fall 2010. • What does submission of these data do? • Provides educators with the ability to search for and use Student Projection data for students currently in their schools as opposed to where those students were attributed for the Spring 2010 PSSA.

  8. Currently Enrolled – Important Note Submission of currently enrolled data will not affect your school’s existing growth reporting. Submission of these data will simply allow you to view student projection information for students currently sitting in your district’s classrooms!

  9. Currently Enrolled Submission Windows • SAS, Inc. has provided districts across the Commonwealth with three opportunities to submit these date: • October 22, 2010 • November 22, 2010 • January 7, 2011 – Still plenty of time to prepare data to submit by 4:00 PM on this day! • A copy of the Service Agreement and Services Specification Form can be found on the PVAAS login page at https://sas.pvaas.com

  10. Currently Enrolled via Projection Summaries If your school district already submitted this data to SAS, Inc. (as described on previous slide): • Once your district’s point of contact has been contacted by SAS, Inc. you can access the new currently enrolled projection summary reports by clicking on “Projection Summary – Enrolled Grades” from the orange reporting tab

  11. Currently Enrolled via Student Search New feature on Student Search to include Currently Enrolled:

  12. Projection Summaries: Projections to Advanced NEW!!!!! Districts and schools can now look at summary report of student projections to ADVANCED levels of performance on the PSSA. This is a very meaningful indicator regarding the future performance of students on the PSSA. This is another important indicators to add to decision-making at the school, grade and student levels.
