  1. Social security disability benefits is enshrined in the federal laws of United States of America with the passage of the American Disabilities Act or ADA by protecting people with disabilities and giving them equal opportunities in public transportation, employment and accommodations. People with disabilities are defined as those people whose mental and physical impairment limits one’s performance in major life activities or those people who are victims of social and professional discrimination. Getting social security benefits is usually a lengthy process that involves filing for social security benefits with the Social Security Administration or SSA and filing for appeals in case of denied benefits. Therefore, it is not so easy to do these appeals by the claimant himself or herself without hiring an experienced social security disability lawyer. In majority of cases, people who have legitimate claims for Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Disability benefits are denied. In other cases, the claim goes to a hearing with an Administrative Law Judge where the claimants’ may have to cross-examine the doctors and vocational experts hired by the government to testify in their case. Hiring a social security disability lawyer would do wonders in expediting the concerned claimant’s disability claims. Studies have already shown that about 65% of the social security applications are denied on first appeal itself. To be continued ……… Finding a social security disability lawyer for claiming benefits
