  4. Three types of businesses: There are 3 main types of business: • Service • Manufacturing • Retail Each type of business is important to our community.

  15. Businesses in Our Community - Scavenger Hunt Directions: Work in groups. You have 1/2 hour for this activity. Walk around your school and notice the businesses in the neighborhood. What businesses do you see? What do they make, sell, or do? Print out and complete the worksheet on the next page. You only have 1/2 hour! GO!
