  1. Different type of Skin Ailments and their Cause Skin Ailments occurs in any part of the body. Some can be very harmful while others not; some can be treated while some can’t. Here we’ve mentioned some of the very common skin ailments which occurs and reason for their occurrence. Some Common causes for skin disorder: Some skin disorders are Genetic in nature. Virus attacks on the body which affects the skin. Immune system getting weak, resulting in various skin ailments. Parasites such as Fungus or Micro-organisms living on the skin. Bacteria getting trapped on the hair follicles or skin pores. Getting in contact with other infected person’s skin or allergens. Disease affecting the Thyroid, Kidney, Immune system or other systems of the body. Various health factors and lifestyle disorders Some skin conditions have no known cause. Few of the very common Skin Problems: Acne: blocked skin cavities which lead to oil, bacteria and dead skin buildup in the pores. Alopecia areata: losing small patches of hair. Eczema: dry & itchy skin which leads to swelling, cracking or scaliness. Psoriasis: scaly skin that may swell or feel hot & covered with silvery scales. Raynaud’s phenomenon: periodic reduced blood flow to the fingers, toes or other body parts; causing numbness or skin color change. Rosacea: flushed, thick skin and pimples, usually on the face. Skin cancer: uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells. Vitiligo: patches of skin that lose pigment.
