Department Achievements Publications • Mrs. Jisha has published paper in the journal of International Journal of Biomaterials Research and Engineering titled “Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Rehablitator”. • Mrs. Remya has published paper in the journal of IEI titled “differential ventilation of lungs”. • Mrs. Jisha has published paper in the journal of IEI titled “Blood infusion warmer cum Needle dislodgment sensor”

  25. Successfully Conducted Debate on “MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY AND PATIENT SAFETY ” during Medcon’12 Experts from the field of Medicine & Bio-Medical engineering have participated

  26. Brilliance Brilliance a multitudinous four level adventure for finding the “Best Professional Group” from all over Kerala

  27. Industry interaction • Students were able to undergo onsite familiarization to PET- CT machine (14 crore GE Make) – conducted by Mr. Santhosh, Teritory General manager, GE.

  28. Industry interaction • Mr. ViswanathanNambiar (BPL Health care), visited dept, the projects, and interacted with students…..also given some practical tips on entrepreneurship and startups.

  29. Govt. interaction Dept conducted a detailed study on the biomedical scenario in hospitals in and around Thrissur, and based on that … • Submitted a detailed memorandum to Govt. of Kerala; • Conducted public debate on this relevant issue.

  30. Academic interaction • Our Alumni staff member Mr. NobuKarippai visited dept and interacted with students on higher studies openings of BME in Germany.
