  1. LED LIGHTING FOR YOUR KITCHEN –  DOS AND DONTS    Every home’s kitchen tells a story. From gathering and catching up with friends and               family to preparing and enjoying meals together – there’s a lot that happens in a             kitchen. Now, imagine, how dull and dreary the place will appear in the absence of             proper lighting!                                                    So, when it comes to entertaining guests in the right way or keeping the warmth of                 your home alive with specially cooked meals for the family, going through some             essential “dos” and “don’ts” is a must.                                Listed below are a few common things to keep in mind when you wish to make the               most of your kitchen with LED lighting:                      Here are some Dos  DO combine layers of light to give your kitchen an overall illuminating look which                 is free from dark spaces and shadows. You can use LED strip lights under the               cupboards and shelves to increase brightness in the kitchen.  DO make way for task lighting to put more focus on the kitchen workspaces,                 whenever needed. Tuck LED halogen lights and combine them with recessed           lighting for an ultra-stylish look and feel. You can also install LED task lights             under the upper cabinets for enhanced effects.                ●                                 ●

  2. DO install the perfect kitchen island pendant. This simple inclusion will bring the             much-needed elegance into your kitchen. You can pick from an inverted or         conventional style and create a bright, pleasant illumination in your preferred           style.  DO remember to include directional spotlights in the kitchen. LED spotlights can           produce a diffuse light which is spread evenly across the kitchen. Go for these               lighting fixtures if you wish to create an inviting atmosphere in the busiest space                 of your home.  DO consider using LED lights that come with a dimming option. There are times             when you may want to decrease the energy consumption in your kitchen, and               during such times dimmable light sources can be the best bet.  Here are some Don’ts                    ●                                               ●                                       ●         DON’T keep kitchen lighting for the last. This step should be taken care of at the             very beginning of your kitchen designing. Leaving the lighting for the end is a big           no. Consider the cabinets, walls, countertops, and accents while deciding about           the type of LED lighting that your kitchen needs.  DON’T install too many lights. Remember that highlighting any room is important           but going overboard with it isn’t. So, include the right amount of LED             lighting that’s needed in the kitchen and don’t over light the space.  DON’T ignore the importance of color temperature. When it comes to illuminating             a kitchen, make sure you pick the right type of lighting that produces a balanced                 tone and color temperature to maintain consistency. Installing different lights that             create a mixture of colors may create more clutter than brightness.  DON’T forget the cooktops, sinks, and walkways. More often than not,           homeowners tend to focus on the workspace and prep areas alone, ignoring             other less used yet equally important spaces of the kitchen. Install proper LED             lights over cooktops, sinks, and walkways to ensure that there is no dark area in           the entire kitchen.  DON’T neglect visual appeal. To make your kitchen look all the more lovely and             bright, make sure you don’t overlook the focal areas of the kitchen. Highlighting a               stunning piece of art or a display cabinet can create a visual appeal that’s hard to                 miss.                                  ●                                     ●                           ●                                     ●                                                                   ●
