Problems with Planetary Atomic Model. The electron, in orbiting the nucleus, undergoes an acceleration and should therefore continuously emit electromagnetic radiation. The predictions are completely wrong!!!. The successful model which came out of these attempts is now called the Bohr model and will be discussed in more detail later on.
