  1. 114 Ways To Strive In The Cause Of God July 16, 2011 Washington D.C.

  2. In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

  3. [3:142] Do you expect to enter Paradise without GOD distinguishing those among you who strive, and without distinguishing those who are steadfast?

  4. Higher Ranks for the Strivers[4:95] Not equal are the sedentary among the believers who are not handicapped, and those who strive in the cause of GOD with their money and their lives. GOD exalts the strivers with their money and their lives above the sedentary. For both, GOD promises salvation, but GOD exalts the strivers over the sedentary with a great recompense.

  5. [5:35] O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD and seek the ways and means to Him, and strive in His cause, that you may succeed.

  6. [5:54] O you who believe, if you revert from your religion, then GOD will substitute in your place people whom He loves and who love Him. They will be kind with the believers, stern with the disbelievers, and will strive in the cause of GOD without fear of any blame. Such is GOD's blessing; He bestows it upon whomever He wills. GOD is Bounteous, Omniscient.

  7. Some of the ideas presented here can be done with little preparation and effort…

  8. …others may need years of preparations and planning…

  9. …some can be done by all…

  10. …some by few…

  11. …some require no special skills or talents…

  12. …some are specific to those blessed with certain abilities and aptitudes…

  13. …some are direct commandments from the Quran…

  14. …some can be derived from principals in the Quran and what is universally cherished by the mankind…

  15. …some have primarily to do with purifying oneself…

  16. …some are meant to help others get closer to God…

  17. …some have been neatly put together in a group and organized with respect to their relevance …

  18. …others were placed on slides randomly…

  19. It is important to note that not all of these ideas are new. In fact some of them have been in the works in various communities and have yielded wonderful results. Hopefully, we can now replicate what has worked in a larger scale…

  20. …for example…

  21. …the “Let the World Know” project has so far placed Dr. Rashad Khalifa’s translation of the Quran in most public libraries in California, Arizona, Colorado and many other U.S. States…

  22. …a few years ago, at LA County Jail, many Qurans were distributed to inmates…

  23. …Quran study meetings were at one point being held at a major California university.
