Anti-Trust Guidelines • It is the unqualified policy of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association to conduct its operations in strict compliance with the antitrust laws of the United States. • MEMA's antitrust policy prohibits any discussions which constitute or imply an agreement or understanding concerning: 1) prices, discounts, or terms or conditions of sale; 2) profits or profit margins or cost data; 3) market shares, sales territories or markets; 4) allocation of customers or territories; 5) selection, rejection or termination of customers or suppliers; 6) restricting the territory or markets in which a company may resell products; 7) restricting the customers to whom a company may sell; or 8) any matter which is inconsistent with the proposition that each manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor must exercise its independent business judgment in pricing its services or products, dealing with its customers and suppliers and choosing markets in which it will compete.

Training Videos • Online FPMC Training Project • Sub-committee met Monday Oct 12th • In attendance Jeff Richardson, Tom Thompson, Joe Yoon, Steve Carrier • General Comments • Budget? • $2,500 from AASA • All were advised that Northwood University in Michigan was not an option • Tom suggested we use the Moog Training facility in St. Louis MO (Lincoln Rep. and Diag. Video shot there • Jeff Richardson advised that this would not be a problem • Jeff requires approx. shoot date so he can reserved the facility • Discussed how long we would need it and thought was 2 days • One for script run through • One for actual shoot

Training Videos • General con’t……. • Timing of shoot July/August 2010 • Slow time for training at facility • Should be able to film all 6 in one day with the pre-work • Steve C asked about French/Spanish translation • Funds for hiring a video crew? • Chris to obtain quotes • Do member companies have video experts within their training depts who could do this? • Can we offer these videos to our WD customers? • They have training sites i.e. “NAPA’s Training of Excellence Center”? • Parts supply for the shoots • All members volunteered to supply new or worn parts • Power Point with live presenter is good format • Where published? • WD’s websites • FPMC website • Need to do creative marketing to installer…how do we do this • Advertise in installer trades i.e. Underhood?

Training Videos • Tank Cleaning, Safety and Hazardous Waste Disposal • Content/Resource • Metal/Steel Tanks are not dying off (Chevy Volt has a metal tank) • New Ford and Chrysler trucks are still steel • Not so much the tank that rusts and causes debris but the filler neck rusts out • Fuel Caddies are available to clean tank and filter debris out (Grainger is supplier) • Could demonstrate use of fuel caddy • Talk about the additional ½ hour of time in Mitchell manual • Recycling companies pick up the old gas • Presenter • ?????
