  7. EN1838: Application rules Escape route • Standard EN 1838 says: • If Escape routes wider up to 2 m, luminaries must be installed to ensure a minimum level of lighting (1 lux) on the floor along the central line of the escape route.

  32. What type of product to be used depending on the need: • Anti-panic area Luminance to provide the right luminous flux at the ground level • Criteria: • Height of the ceiling (impact on the needful flux). • Surface of the area (impact on nb of luminaires to be installed).
