  2. Verbs • A verbtells what something or someone does. • A verb is the doing word in a sentence.

  3. Verbs • When reading a sentence ask yourself: “What word in this sentence is something that I could do”. That is the verb. • Examples: I could- walk, talk, sing, hop, write, think, paint, play, like, etc.

  4. Let’s find the Verbs • 1. The football player ran with the ball. • 2. The rabbit hopped across the yard. • The painter painted the wall.
