Living-Learning Communities • 450 participants • UNIV 1231: • 1 credit class • Students attend class together as a community Living - Learning Communities: • Neighbors Educated Together (NET) • Honors Scholars, Pre-Nursing, Health Professions, Psychology Majors, Commuter • First Year Connections (FYC) • TWU Serves, Global Connections, SUCCESS • Sophomore Year Community • Arts Community Scholar Communities: • Honors Scholars • Terry Scholars

Faculty & Staff Involvement • University Housing’s Assistant Director for Student Development and Family Services supervises and provides leadership for the program • 40 full professors, graduate teaching assistants, and adjunct faculty provide academic support for the program • Student Leaders (Peer Advisors) in every community • In and out of class experiences: • Dinner with a professor at home • Lectures & course material review sessions outside of class time • Museum trips • Field trips to the TWU T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center • Theatrical productions
