  2. 1 1 2 2 Getting Started Elite Membership Login The first step to entering data is registering for an APGQA.com Elite Membership Account. There is no need to create a new account if you already have one. Once APG Customer Service has reviewed your account you will receive an email notifying you that you can enter data online. This process takes less than one business day. Once you have an Elite Membership Account, you must return to this page and login using your email address and the password that you established during registration. Passwords are not case sensitive. If you do not remember your password you can click the “Forgot your password?” link to receive your password via email. Please contact customer support at 800.272.4442 if you cannot login to your account. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  3. 1 1 Getting Started Entering Your APGQA.com Data Entry Code Your APGQA.com Data Entry Code is your key to entering data online. This 8 character alpha-numeric code is printed on the bottom-right of your Data Return Booklet. Enter this code into the “Data Entry Code” Form. This form is located on the left side of almost every APGQA.com page. Data Entry Codes are not case sensitive. Contact customer support at 800.272.4442 if you have any issues locating your Data Entry Code or entering it into the form. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  4. 1 4 1 2 3 4 2 3 Determining Your DMRQA Reporting Role Contract Laboratory or Permittee or Both? Refer to the Permittee Online Data Entry Tutorial to learn about the reporting process for permittees. An organization that has an NPDES Permit is considered a “Permittee”. Click the “Permittee” button to enter the system as an NPDES Permit Holder. You may return to this page and change your selection at any time. An organization that provides the analysis for an NPDES Permit but does not have an NPDES Permit is considered a “Contract Laboratory”. Click this button and APGQA.com will ask you a series of questions and determine your reporting role. It is possible that you may need to report as a permittee and a contract lab. If you test analytes for your own NPDES Permit and test analytes for a separate organization’s NPDES Permit then you are both a permittee and a contract laboratory. You can click the “Return Previous Page” Button to change your DMRQA Reporting Role. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  5. 1 4 2 3 4 3 2 1 Entering Your Data Online US EPA Lab Code, Reporting Address and Data Report Packages US EPA Lab Code is required to identify your facility to the US EPA and DMRQA Coordinators. Your reporting address is the location that the contract laboratory report will be sent to. APG sends a contract laboratory report shortly after the end of the study. It includes the evaluations for each analyte for each NPDES Permit Holder that uses the US EPA Lab Code that is specified in step 1. Click the “Submit Data For DMRQA” button to enter your data. Once data has been entered you can view it by clicking the “View Data Return” button. Once data has been submitted, step 4 will appear. It is the responsibility of the contract laboratory to send the data for the analytes that they routinely analyze for DMRQA to the Permittee(s). Custom reports and notifications provides the mechanism to quickly relay data. With a few clicks and minimal typing you can electronically fulfill your requirements. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  6. 1 4 2 3 3 4 2 1 Entering Your Data Online Entering DMRQA Data Enter the reported value and method description for the analytes that you tested. Be sure that the lot numbers on the samples match the lot numbers on the web page. Method Description is a maximum of 15 characters. Spaces should be omitted. Click the “Continue to Finalize” Button to review the data before submitting. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  7. 1 2 3 2 3 1 Entering Your Data Online Finalizing Your DMRQA Data Return Review all data and ensure that it is entered correctly. Data must be reported in the units specified. Click the “Finalize DMRQA Data Return” to submit your data. The data can be modified while the study is open. Click the “Edit Data” Button to return to the previous page and edit the data. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  8. 1 2 1 2 Data Reporting Packages Relaying Data to NPDES Permit Holders Upon successful submission of data, a confirmation email will be sent to ensure you that data has been received. Click the “Create a New Data Reporting Package” to electronically relay your data to permittees. Although it is not necessary, the data return confirmation page can be printed using the “Print This Page For My Records” button. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  9. 1 2 1 2 Data Reporting Packages Creating a Data Reporting Package Permittees should be sent only the data for analytes that they request – permittees should not be sent all analytes that the contract laboratory analyzes. Providing additional, not requested data may provide the Permittee with comparable data for analytes that they run in-house. To generate a data report package for a specific NPDES Permit Holder click this button. You can find the contact information for a specific NPDES Permit using the search on the next page. This process provides contract laboratories with a quick way to generate reports tailored specifically to each permit. A contract laboratory that analyzes the same group of analytes for multiple NPDES Permit Holders, can create a generic package. For example, a contract laboratory tests pH, Aluminum, Mercury, and Nickel for 10 permittees. It is not necessary to create 10 unique data report packages. A generic “pH / Trace Metals” package can be created and distributed to the 10 permittees. Data Report Packages are a free service of APGQA.com. You can create as many data reporting packages as you need. You should not feel any anxiety creating data report packages. Since the interaction is between you and APGQA.com, it is acceptable to revise and resend report packages as often as you like. Contact customer support at 800.272.4442 if you have any issues creating data report packages. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  10. 1 1 2 3 2 3 Creating a Unique Reporting Package Specific NPDES Permit Holder Packages Providing additional, not requested data may provide the Permittee with comparable data for analytes that they run in-house. Data Report Packages created for a specific NPDES Permit Holder eliminates this issue. The NPDES Permit List as supplied by the US EPA is used to locate the permits. Use the Search fields to locate the desired NPDES Permit. Multiple fields can be combined to narrow the results. In the example, the search for the permit state of “AK” and the name “Spano” returns three permits. Click the “Add Permit” link on the desired permit row to transfer the permit details to the data report package. You will have the opportunity to edit this information. In the unforeseen event that you cannot locate the desired NPDES Permit, click the “Add a Permit” Button to type the details for the permit. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  11. 1 2 2 1 Creating a Unique Reporting Package Specific NPDES Permit Holder Packages Verify the NPDES Permit and permit contact information is correct. Make any necessary modifications. Click the “Save Reporting Package” Button to select the analytes to include in the package. Data Report Packages are a free service of APGQA.com. You can create as many data reporting packages as you need. Contact customer support at 800.272.4442 if you have any issues creating data report packages. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  12. 1 2 1 2 3 3 Creating a Unique Reporting Package Select the Analytes to Include Check the box to the left of each analyte that should be include in the Data Report Package. Once the analytes have been selected, click the “Save Analyte Selections” Button to complete the data reporting package. The data reporting package will be automatically emailed to you. You may then print the attached data report package or forward the entire email to the permittee. You will then be directed to a summary of your Data Reporting Packages where you will have the ability to add, modify and delete packages. A summary of the Data Report Packages is listed on the left of the screen. Although you will exit the current data report package, you may click on a data reporting package to review/modified view it. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200

  13. 1 1 Creating a General Reporting Package Sending the Same Analytes to Many Permittees General report package creation begins by assigning a title to the package. The package should be description so that the contract laboratory and the permittees can quickly identify the contents. Once the title has been entered, click the “Save Reporting Package” Button to select the analytes to include in the package. Data Report Packages are a free service of APGQA.com. You can create as many data reporting packages as you need. Contact customer support at 800.272.4442 if you have any issues creating data report packages. www.APGQA.com 800.272.4442 740.423.4200
