Harrison Elementary School - Reflections on 2018-19 Highlights: • Monthly Meetings ER Days for professional development • Formalized PD for data analysis • Discussions around pre-assessments in math • Coaching for both math and literacy • RTI protocols - Understanding of the importance of documenting instruction/assessment Challenges: • Lost the hour of ERDay-Impacted our professional development work • Difficult to analyze success of word problems because we don’t have common assessments • Math is not linear/different standards(numeracy) for each grade level • STAR was given but not enough time or training for adequate PD to analyze

Paris Elementary School: Highlights from FY 18 - FY 19: • Significantly decreased number of restraints and seclusions from 79 to 23 • Significantly decreased percentage of special education population being suspended from 18% to 5% • Decreased percentage of chronically absent students from 23.4% to 21% • We have had a significant decrease in office/behavior referrals

Paris Elementary School Highlights related to Responsive Classroom Initiative • Staff participated in 2 book studies related to Responsive Classroom Practices in FY 19 • Decrease in behavior incidents • Staff reported a higher percentage of students taking responsibility for their learning • New staff will read read Responsive Classroom books to give everyone the same understandings

Paris Elementary School: Focus Areas for FY 20 • HOWLS • Continue to implement and refine documentation system for RTI data • RTI team will meet on a bi-weekly basis to develop a plan of action to support students • Attendance is a priority • Spreadsheet will help us better track students at risk • Parent contact started in first few weeks of school

Paris Elementary School: • Rewrote writing goal to focus on helping teachers better understand and use the rubrics • Monthly grade level PLCs for reading and math • Consistent administration of Student Perception Survey • PES is participating in a Mindfulness grant through OmKids and the DOE which supports Trauma Informed Practices

Rowe Elementary School Some Successes from 2018-2019 • A systematic approach to address children with significant behaviors (PBIS Tier 3 Process) • A referral and planning process for supporting students struggling in math and reading • Improved our use of protocols to look at student data from common assessments PB

Waterford Memorial School DATA DATA DATA Highlights: • RTI plans were developed for students • ER Days were focused on analyzing and using student work • Data walls were developed for literacy • Instructional coach met with teachers during PLCs and ERDays (reading/writing) • Units of Study in Phonics -2nd grade used 1st grade - 20 min block Challenges: • Lost the hour of ER Day-Impacted our professional development work • More PD around RTI is needed • Understanding how to use and analyze running records • Math wall not developed -More specific information around math with additional PD needed

Monitoring: • Administrator will complete at least 10 walkthroughs monthly and record data Reading and Behavior Goals will be addressed through the district’s goals.
