  2. “Jay” Gatsby • He was a good and hopeful person • His house is a mansion which shows that he was rich.

The Carraways • He looks like a great – uncle that he has never met • This paragraph is significant because they ( his family ) has been living in middle Western City for 3 generations • Not able to judge which made him curious. He always wondered than he should due to an abnormal mind. • My Father told me “whenever you feel like criticizing anyone, just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had”. • It’s inspirational and she will remember it through all his life.

  4. Great War • “Teutonic migration known the Great war.” • Grandfather’s brother started a hardware business • Went to Daisy and Tom house on the East he knew Tom from college. He lived on a mansion. • Describes the relationship of him and his father and how he felt a victim in college.

  5. West egg village • He lived in the proximity of millionaires

  6. East egg Village • Is identical in shape to the neighboring West Egg and only separated by a courtesy bay

  7. Tom Buchanans • He visited a friend named Tom. Tom was an old friend. Tom is rich. Tom has a built body. • He had an uncle, his grand fathers brother who started a hardware business. He moved from his hometown. He visited a friend named Tom ( he had a nice house) • Tom was engaged to a women out West • Tom Buchanan was born from old money. • A sturdy straw – haired man of thirty with a rather hard mouth and a supercilious manner.

Daisy • “ A beautiful little fool” Daisy wants her daughter to be a fool because she doesn’t want her to get hurt. • Saying how she felt about the war. • Getting to know a family secret that wasn’t told to anybody. It was about the butler nose. • He talk on the phone expressing but feelings • Introduces Daisy as Nicles second cousin.

  9. Ms. Baker • Slender small breasted girl, w/ (with) cadet – like posture, & gray eyes • He was seen for the 1st time
